Just Add Ink - Burst Of Colour

Just a quickie today as I have guests about to arrive any minute now, for the week. My "burst of colour" is a small burst of colour, but it is a burst of colour! Here is the picture that we got to use as "inspiration".
I have embossed the white backing and the back butterfly is white gloss. And I'm still loving Stampin' Ups white organza ribbon! The striped paper is an old Kaiser 12x12.

Mothers Day 2010

Ok - a tad little late - but here is my mums 2010 Mothers Day card!!!! I was a terrible daughter and woke up on the day and realised I hadn't even made her a card!!! And I remember that morning distinctly (actually 2 days before but I was seeing her on the Friday) because it was the day of Agfest (Tasmanian Rural/Agriculture show/display) and it was absolutely pouring and wild wild winds were rattling my craft room windows. 5am. Cold. Dark. But this card appeared an hour later!!!
I followed Julie Buhler's fab tutorial for the flower and found a brad in my box that suited for centre.

cardstock: lavender lace, melon mambo, whisper white
sorry dont remember the cuttlebug embossing folder name, pink organza ribbon and pearl buckle thingy and a random brad!!! helpful I know!

Haydens Birthday Card

I made this card a few months ago for my nephews birthday, but I havent yet listed it on my blog - until now!
I think it was my 1st time of using an embossing folders and love the effects (especially with one flipped the oppositve way).

stamps: in the stars, birthday best
cardstock: chocolate chip, whisper white, basic grey and I cant remember what blue I used
ink: chocolate chip, pacific point
