As you can see, I look after my 12x12's really well. I LOVE 12x12's so I don't know why I treat them like this *blushes*.
These two boxes (can you see them amongst all the crap on my desk!) hold 2 different things:
1. The top one holds my FlowerSoft items - things I wish I used more, but unfortunately don't.
2. The bottom box holds much MUCH used Cuttlebug (ssshhh) things....dies, embossing folders etc. I use it all the time, so why is it on the bottom UNDERNEATH my lamp (which I have to move every time I need to use something in the box)???

On top of this little cupboard I decided to put a few of the things I use the most, but then it changed to displaying the things that look the nicest, like the Felt Flower tins and the button/brads etc etc....but now its just a mess!!!! Everytime I get one of my new sets the whole lot come crashing down!!!
'The Stamp Cupboard" - good luck in finding the set you actually want! It usually takes me about 10mins to find something and generally I come across a set I didn't even know I had amongst them!
This little tray, holds alot. Alot of things I use everytime I craft, and alot of things I don't think I've ever used! But if I can't find anything in my craft room, it's usually tucked in here SOMEWHERE!!!
Another brilliant idea (not) of storing things I use regularly....its now more a place to shove things that don't have a "spot" yet!

Ages ago, I covered a chocolate box that I gave to my parents (I got the box back empty! hmph!!) and this is where I store all those extra little bits and pieces. It's usually a one way trip - it goes in but rarely comes back out - must remedy that!
Anyway, I hope you enjoyed seeing some of my VERY messy room - I do go in and tidy up and it looks really nice when it's all neat and tidy, but it doesn't take me long to get it back like this when I'm crafting! But I say, a neat craft room isn't near as creative as a messy one!
(That's what I tell myself and I'm sticking to it!)

LOL - you should have seen my room before I cleaned it up the other day. The only semi free space I had was my grid paper!
ReplyDeleteI have a draw like you chocolate box, it just keeps getting fuller & fuller. I don't know what to do with it all!
Tania-we must have been seperated at birth!! There is no way I am going to photograph my craft room - a bomb looks like it has gone off in it!! Buried under the rubble is some great stuff - now if I can only find what I am looking for...............
ReplyDeleteYou are a way braver woman then me! LOL A bomb could go off in my craft area (just a small section of our lounge room where I have my desk set up) and no one would be able to tell the difference. It took me 30 mins last night to find the case that I had stored my new Stampin' Up! 12 x 12 papers in and that was with hubby looking as well :)
ReplyDeleteNow I don't feel so bad about my craft space as I keep meaning to organise it so I remember what exactly I have but I just never get there. I do occasionally tidy up the desk so I can craft again and again! You make me feel better about my own space, thanks Tanya!
ReplyDeleteOh Tania, thanks for the laugh - your sarcasm is right at home with me, love it! haha. I think if it works for you, it works for you. I loved the tour - thank you! xx Amanda
ReplyDeleteLOL loved this post. Love the cupboard with your stamps in them. And love the shelf with the colour caddy on top. I have a few of them will have to post photos so you can see what mine are used for :)
ReplyDeleteOhhhh just makes me wanna come over there and straighten up those messy stacks of stamps!!!
