Ssshhh...this is to be my friend Naomi's Birthday card, but I will give it to her in person when I visit her in a few weeks time in Melbourne.I have had Pick-A-Petal for a few monthsnow and have wanted it so much but havent even used it yet...so last night was the night! I cased the idea from here. I really love this card - I think it has a real fresh, happy feeling about it. The top leaves are acetate and the stitching is my "fake-stitching" (shh dont tell). The quote is a rub-on that I found amongst my supplies as well as the purple. The green is Certainly Celery. Hope you like!
This one is a Thank You card for my friend Liz with a home-made button courtesy of Danielle Daws fabulous tutorial - you can find that here.
I woke this morning feeling a bit yucky - recovering from the flu and feeling the effects of being a woman...happy happy joy joy!!!! I buried myself in my craft desk and this is what I surfaced with about 2hrs later!
